Happy Birthday, Artist Annie!

Phil and I were among the throng of well-wishers at Artist Annie's 75th birthday bash today. Family members, as well as a wide range of folks from her art circle, her music circle, her caregivers' circle, and no doubt several more circles, gathered in her new home to help Ann celebrate.

Her energy, creativity, and warmth carry over into the next generation as well, as is evident in this photo of Ann with her son, Jason, who came with his partner all the way from New York City -- about 3,000 miles away.

Here's to many more happy birthdays, Ann!
