On the Bridle Trail

Today we parked at Davis Flat and walked up the old Bridle Trail to Haast Pass.  Some of us didn't get that far, we had our lunch on the trail in the cool shade.  The extra is of the swing bridge over the Fish River.

We stopped for an ice cream or cuppa tea at Makarora on the way home.  Didn't get back until 4.45, so a long day.

Another very hot day +30C.
