Green Heron in Flight

I had about 45 minutes of free time earlier today and and spent it at the Venice Rookery.  It was a very chilly 40 degrees with a nice breeze to boot.  Needless to say, the four photographers (including myself) that were there and the birds were not very happy about that..  

All four photographers were delighted when this Green Heron took off from the Rookery. Four cameras clicked away but only one got the Heron as he crossed into a very small sunny spot.  :)
