Ice Out

This usually happens in March or closer to spring, but I think the extreme cold caused the ice to form early and then last weeks' warm front and all day rain caused it to melt prematurely so these giant pieces of ice were moving down the river this morning.  River overflowing in spots too.  The dynamics of nature and New England weather.
