Swans on a ....

..... brilliant day.
"A" came last night, so we really had the whole day today which was great.
# Breakfast was -- fruit juice , pears , scrambled egg and smoked salmon, hot rolls and marmalade and tea ( of course)!
# We drove to Godstone ( Surrey) where we did two long walks , with a coffee between each . I was quite pleased with what I'd done , perseverance was the word to use --- but ---- yippy I did it.
# came home to tea and ( an apology for a --) birthday cake!
# Now we are going to enjoy Chicken Chasseur . Green veg and roast potatoes and ( sirs favourite) Sherry trifle.
# then enjoy some TV
So a really lovely day in all.

Grateful ..... for "A's" company and being able to share his " actual " birthday .
