Day 014/18. A whole new pile of possibilities

My dad came around for lunch today and brought with him a great tub full of lego. This was all given to him by a friend for our grandsons. Very kind.
Some of these pieces are clearly pretty old, and from the designs included were sourced in the USA decades ago.
Lego does seem to last forever and its great to see it passed from generation to generation.
Aeons in the future, when humanity is long gone and aliens finally visit, the only thing left recording our construction skills will be lego. And the aliens will think we were 15cm tall.... :)
