Engrenages

I am hooked on the Saturday night French police series Spiral, the French title of which is 'Engrenages'.  Engrenages literally means gearings but is this context has nuances of wheels within wheels, intrigue and criminal and other machinations.  So I give you today the gearing of a Vienna regulator I was assembling this morning.  Now it is off to see 'Darkest Hour' at the cinema.
