Randy Stag
It's mating season, so Richmond Park and Bushy Park have many small (5-30 strong) groups of deer dotted around the place, each with one male and his harem of does.
Apart from the rutting, the male seems to spend most of the time vocally warning off passing suitors, sometimes needing to 'engage with the enemy'.
Of course this leaves the rest of the unlucky stags wandering the park looking for action, where they are often to be found howling at the sky in anguish.
Like frustrated teenagers their time will eventually come.
Apart from maybe for this guy, seen wandering away from another failed duel. Maybe this was an attempt at camouflage? :o) As it is, I can't see anyone making doe-eyes at him anytime soon.
