#100days - '78: portrait of writer as a young man

This may or may not be a photo of me from 1978; it's certainly from around then. I won a quiz contest run by shops in Auckland's Blockhouse Bay. Can't recall what my prize was - hopefully book tokens or cash! I git my photo taken for the local paper (the Western Leader, maybe?) in a hardware store (hence the paint cans behind me). Came straight from school, hence the uniform shirt and jumper. Not sure why I still have this photo, considering how little I can recall if the circumstances! Anyway, that's me circs 1978.
