A SMOKEY SUNDAY

This was the view at lunchtime today with smoke billowing across the sky from a bushfire in the hills outside Perth.  The sky remained so for the next few hours due to the remnants of clouds from Cyclone Joyce creating a layer above the smoke and 'holding it in' - so to speak.  
The extra was taken much later in the afternoon.  I love the colours in the extra.
The afternoon was like an eclipse - you couldn't see the sun for smoke. Amazing.
