Mount Tambourine

Summer! I dislike summer weather. Humid, humid and hot. Predicted high 30s and it reached over 37C.

It is not often we have a free weekend. So we took the opportunity to visit friends way south of the river city (Brisbane). Our first in over 10 years!.

For some weather relief, we drove up the mountains. And yes it was cooler by a few degrees. Humidity = thunderstorms. And it was. Rolling from the SW to NE. 
We did not get to blip the lightings atop this lookout at Robert Sowter Park, Mount Tambourine. Also where the Hand Gliders take off (in better weather conditions) to off to the South.
