Amaryllis

My New Year guests sent a beautiful bouquet last week aptly named January Blues. This amaryllis stem has taken a while to open up & as I was freshening up the arrangement I thought it looked good on it's own on the black glass.
Managed to get on with some chores as well as return to the village hall to tidy up after Fridays beetle drive. There was also a community update on a new project kicking off. The Colglen Boat Club has been formed and they are building a skiff. I had hoped to get a photo of the skiff which came round from Tighnabruaich to join the meeting but the weather was rotten. Another time.
Mr T back from the Autosport show at the NEC full of enthusiasm and the cold. Chicken soup at the ready!
