Walking to fitness
My very old walking boots that have served me well over many years and I hope they will continue to help me back to fitness for a little while longer.
Slowly building up my fitness through walking and there is nothing better than walking with a lovely friend. Our visit to Gibside today was just what was needed and perhaps we walked further than expected enjoying the history of Gibside, the beautiful Chapel, the Pond and the Folly, stopping to enjoy the views and the tranquility, imagining what life was like in those days. We also saw a couple of Red kites too. Thank you F for your lovely company, a good start to the walk 1000 miles challenge.
