Always be the dog

A proper leisurely morning. Lie in, breakfast in bed, bath, dog walk. Jays mum and dad came down to see us in the afternoon then monopoly, Indian takeaway and some come dine with me. A very nice day. Will won, well worthy of mention.

And we discovered that swirling lemon curd through cake batter before you bake the cake doesn’t really work (although Will and I are v happy to eat the results even if no one else is). And Daisy found You Tube videos of howling dogs intended to encourage dogs to howl. I don’t think Rosie has ever howled before, it was quite a low and sad sound- Daisy’s research shows it was nothing of the sort. Which was good because it was ever so funny.
