Delayed Christmas Trip

Getting ready for my road trip tomorrow, a month later than planned I’m going to Manchester to meet up with Mum and sisters. I had to cancel in December due to a nasty head cold and a spell of bad weather. Agreed to try again for what would have been dads birthday on Monday. They didn’t get their Christmas presents as they are a bit fragile to put in the post so I’ll be taking them with me tomorrow.

Rather irritatingly the head cold I have been trying to shake since Wednesday is still hanging around and I was tempted to cancel again as I really don’t want to leave any bugs with my Mum but when I spoke to her today she’s also fighting off a bug so I’ll be in good company.
