Taking flight

I went for a walk. I'm so lucky to have Woodberry Wetlands on my doorstep. I saw swans, seagulls, coots, blue tits, parakeets, cormorants, geese, moorhens, magpies, pigeons (always), & ducks. I might have seen a kingfisher but I can't be sure as it was the merest glimpse.
It's a bit chilly so I am home again and expect to stay indoors for the rest of today.
