Weird weather...

What a day! Finished yesterday at plus 13, plus 8 overnight and then warmer again Friday morning with oodles of rain (1st shot upper left, which is the same shot of 4 days ago when we got a dump of snow!). Then by noon it was icy rain (upper right photo) and by 2:30 it was the most beautuful snow storm (bottom photos). Unfortunately the lowering/freezing temps combined with layers of different types of preciptation lead to treacherous walking/driving conditions. Crazy day at work but lovely lunch out with my sweetie who came downtown for the 1st time since retiring last month - we met our friend, head of the athletics department at our alma mater. Quiet cozy evening at home. These wildly fluctating temperature are interesting, from over minus 30 with wind chill for weeks to plus 13 Thursday and crashing back down to minus 15.
