The Pentland Skyline

I think I was a bit ambitious doing this race! 16 miles and 8000' of climb. I was quite excited at the start and enjoying myself for the first few miles and then the climb started to hurt and then it went cold and windy and rainy and I had thoughts of stopping............ but I carried on going slower and slower and almost cried when the final drinks station had run out of water, but I did make it to the finish and I think I might do another long race one day..................
