Tough cookie

Lilli had her adenoids removed today, together with a lot of muck that was clogging up her ears....

Despite the truly amazing staff and surroundings, it was a rather horrid experience - more for me than for her I think! She coped really well with the anaesthesia and didn't even cry when she woke up, despite blood running from her nose and ears...

We were back home 4 hours later and she's been doing great since, a bit groggy, but fitter than I thought. Thank god we've got that out of the way.
