At home: awaiting inspiration x

Sam is doing his homework. He is creating presentation on his grandpas childhood games. His grandpa had a childhood based in scarborough. His childhood was a seaside town mix of cricket against his mothers hotel wall in the late 1940s and freezing dips in the icey north sea.

Sam is writing a story about a regular one grandpa tells. 'I was supposed to be peeling potatoes but used to nip out for the back to bat a ball. You can imagine the shouts from my tired mother in the hotel kitchen.'

Sams has inherited his grandpas knack of making a quick buck. He used to carry bags from the train station to the hotel at Sams age. He bought himself his own first bike at 11 years old and then cycled to Sheffield from
Scarborough to see how far it was! X
