October Challenge - Come Dancing - Not Strictly

Day 15 of the October daily challenge - Come Dancing

Before Strictly there was a long running series which featured people who could dance at the beginning of the series (novel idea), and who were partnered with people of similar talent and experience.

Teams of amateur dancers represented their regions competing against other regions, this included JohnGravetts parents. The series ran from 1949 to the end of 1998.

Now we have Z list celebrities who can rarely dance (certainly at the beginning) dancing with professional dancers. Voting now is down to the public, so depends much more on the competitors personality and popularity than skill as a dancer.

One common feature of the commentary on the original show was "her dress has 10,000 hand sewn sequins" or however many sequins there were, so my blip - some sequins, not hand sewn and not 10,000 of them, a pale shadow of those past seamstresses work.
