Ice skating lesson
Friday; my day off from work. I did a couple of chores that needed to be done. In the afternoon, I took Inge to her violin orchestra rehearsal and after that I drove Ellis to her ice skating lesson. This time, one of Martine's co-workers was also there and we spent the entire lesson talking. In the evening, we had a meeting with the neighbours to discuss the plans for rebuilding our homes. Last week, our houses were once again struck by an earthquake caused by the extraction of natural gas in our region. This adds to the anger and frustration. For our houses, a plan was made that means we will leave our houses in December, but for many people that feels too long and on top of that lots of people are expecting that it will take even longer. The good thing is, that we are united and have an idea of what our new homes could/should look like. More about this to follow on the 26th, when we're having another meeting with the (government) agencies involved in this project...
