A door on the Mediterranean.

Although I have lived in Spain for many years, I rarely buy a book in Spanish.....newspapers and magazines, yes.....but not a book. Today I bought this locally written and produced book, about our neighbouring town of Altea.......another gem on the Mediterranean!
The book has an air of familiarity about it.....Altea is home to many of our friends, there are photographs of places that we know, restaurants where we have dined, of streets where we have walked.......
Am thinking we’ll read and browse this little book.....with great enjoyment.....
and it may get sent across the Atlantic to our son and his wife, who also have a special tie to Altea......
because....within the book there is a photo of the Church, where their marriage was blessed.
