the hollow crown

The dustmen have finally caught up with Christmas.  But the magpies have the last laugh.  They peck at the pink sacks left at the side of the road and liberate anything that takes their fancy.

The dustmen missed this and I guess the magpies grew tired of playing War of the Roses.
