Anyone for a cruise

The luxury of time for self indulgence, time for relaxation and time for pursuing hobbies has been cruelly snatched from me by the onset of another working week.

The reality of leaving the house before the light has fully returned from her nightly journey to places far away and of returning as she leaves once more is upon me.

Gone, my opportunities for adventures into the magical places beneath the trees where sunbeams and dewdrops play out their own performance beneath leaves who, like me, cling on to the last glimpses of a summer fading into memory.

Fingers crossed the fungi will have around until the weekend.
