Floating

What a difference a day makes - today has been wet, cold and blustery. I've caught up with a few chores but seem to have been chasing my tail without achieving much. The rains stopped for a bit and I rushed around the circuit for a breath of air. The tide was very high - the water very clear, this leaf is actually floating.
Just been skyping son #1 - he's planning to go to Iceland for the New Year, in search of the Aurora Borealis. He thought he might camp!!! I casually wondered whether there was any daylight at that time of year - that's flummoxed him and he's off to investigate.
