ANOTHER RE-FRET

This a French "Manouche" guitar. Basically it's a poor copy of the Selmer Maccaferri that Django used to play.

CC took the old frets out, sanded the fingerboard & banged the new frets in - leaving me to do 90% of the work!

First I chopped off the excess fretwire flush with the edge of the fingerboard & superglued their ends. Next I put masking tape in between them to protect the fingerboard from damage. I blacken them with a felt tip marker pen & then file them level with the diamond encrusted straight edge you can see there.

So it goes - could give you the rest, but I reckon I'd bore us all to death!
