Welcome Back!

The ugly little street in front of my office welcomed me with a colourful illumination this morning. I was only gone for one week and had no idea they missed me that much!

Some of the lights change colours! When I walked in the office rooms at 7 am, the rooms had a touch of Rotlichtmilieu (I will not translate this). Some of the lights shine right in my office.

Apparently the city of Kaiserslautern has money to spend. The thought behind the illumination is to get people to use this street more and to ban the frightening darkness out of this ugly side street/corner in the city center.
That's fine with me - light show every morning from now on!
