Feeling stir crazy we thought a walk above Rosedale would improve our mood. However as we approached the rain started and we could not see our hand in front of our face!

So dropped down and had a walk in Cropton Forest instead. We thought it would be quiet but the cabins seemed to be well occupied and it was busier than expected. Spotted this on one of the trails. It reminded me both of the Monty Python ‘Dead Parrot’ sketch as it had been nailed to the tree and the Hungry Caterpillar book I read to my three boys.....Strange how the mind works or is the weather taking its toll?
