Keeping Warm

Another grey raw day on which to go walk about even as the resident squirrels thought to play tig up the tree to keep warm. I was concentrating so hard on the top one, I failed to see his partner scampering up after him which is why it doesn’t have a tail visible.

We had a warm house today with minimal evidence of yesterday’s disruption. The parquet flooring has been reinstated with no sign of it having been taken up but the floor tiles in the bathroom will have to be reinstated tomorrow..


All that remains with the Dower House tribulations over the festive period is for His Lordship to have a constant connection with the internet on his Mac Book and not have it switching on and off constantly. The nice lady in India is on the case and will deliver her verdict once she has tweaked whatever needs tweaking on the modem. It could be that she will send us a new one if her tweaking doesn’t work.
Because I use my IPad all the time, I don’t seem to be similarly afflicted.
