The Gate to the Orient

This building which is called Dongfangzhimen, or the Gate to the Orient, took more than a decade to build. This photo was taken in 2013. The building changed hands many times and there were always rumors that the companies kept running out of money or one side of the building was sinking. But last November this building was finally completed and opened to the public.
