Last morning in Venice and an interesting one. We were woken at 7am by the flood warning/air raid siren. Apparently by 11.30 they were expecting more than 110cm extra of water. All the streets had these boards out so that people can still get about the city.

The inbound plane was delayed as Edinburgh airport didn't have fuel and it had to stop at Newcastle on the way. We're home now and this evening will involve laundry and catching up on sleep.
