Seed Head

I love these. No idea what they a re but they a re great fun to photograph.

The weather picked up today and was back to t-shirt weather. We walked in the forest and I popped the macro lens on in order to do some wildflower studies... so was entirely unprepared when a pair of  Mongoose crossed my path. It was a precious moment. The photos are terrible but you can see them on my Facebook.

The shots of Arisarum (Candilillo) that I went out to get were also terrible but seeing the Mongoose more than made up for that disappointment. There will be other days and I shall try  again.
