Excited

The usual crawl around Edinburgh bypass to the airport. Then on to Berlin.

Two hour flight and then I managed to negotiate the Underground with only one mistake which necessitated a bit of backtracking to Alexanderplatz. Then a short walk to our AirB&B apartment- very nice in a cool residential neighbourhood.

A walk to the local Thai restaurant for much needed refuelling. Then a trip on the tram to meet our guide for the evening for a pub crawl through some of the local bars. We sampled beer, wine, gin and a Berlin shooter that tasted like listerine. I professed horror (but was secretly delighted) when I mistakenly ordered a shandy in the Turkish nightclub we finished in.
