Foggy walk

It's so great to get to the stage where some of my pals have retired too! Chum J is a bit like myself, stepping out of paid employment a few years before our pension kicks in. Also like me, she has some redundancy money to allow her to keep body and soul together!

She rang me this morning with plans for an afternoon walk; it was a lovely sunny start to the day, so I was happy to go along. What a difference in the afternoon! A real pea-souper fog. So we wandered around Crawfordsburn Country Park anyway. I only had my phone, so didn't try to take any misty shots - I thought they'd just look like very bad photos! I.e. worse than usual...

The waterfall was lovely, though, as the river was in full spate. Not quite wide angle, but that's what I've got for Wednesday! Still on my 'dry' January thing, although I've been thinking about the lovely bottle of wine I'll buy for the 1st February :(
