auberge

Pierre and I spent the morning in Sahune. There’s a lady there who helps people with their administrative matters. I am trying to do what’s right in terms of business admin here and it’s really hard because I don’t fit into a particular category. It’s a bit “computer says ‘no’”. The woman is so helpful though, and is trying to get me sorted. We will go back and see her next week once she’s got some answers for us.

Marius was at crèche so we took advantage of the free time we had and went to the auberge for lunch. Jean-Michel and Jeannine who run it told us good but sad news. They’ve sold up and are moving to Perpignan! It’s been on the cards for a while and we will be so sad to see them go. Two women have bought the business; it will be interesting to see what they do with the place. They will apparently still do hotel/restaurant but I’m sure they’ll do it in their own way. Marius had a great morning at crèche. He is pulling himself up all the time now, walking around furniture, getting more confident. It’s so cool to see him gaining confidence!
