The Bund

A sense of air and space for almost the first time today. We walked The Bund and marvelled and the asymmetry of modern and colonial architecture facing each other across the river. Later, on the Nanjing Road claustrophobia returned as did the street vendors offering everything from fake watches to "lovely ladies".
