Left behind with the cockerel to fend off Mr Fox.

The (occasionally troublesome) eccentric neighbour has been evicted.


PS Don't be sad. I peeped through the fence and took the picture simply because it looked pathetic... a bit of artistic licence if you like! But I don't want you to be too concerned. They've lived here for years, have always fended for themselves and are free to roam and forage at will. They have shelter. I will throw regular handfuls of food to them. All will be fine. Nature will take it's course.
