New job day one. COO of a luxury jewellery company.

It’s a tough life when 08:30 start actually means turn up at 08:28. Unlike education, where a 08:30 bell means get in at 07:00 to prepare for the day ahead! When the first job you do is put out nearly quarter of a million quids worth of jewellery. When you actually get a lunch break. And time to think. And an induction programme. And when a 17:00 end of the day means you are home by 17:20. With no work to do in the evening.

I’m going to enjoy life outside of education and in the real world!
