Things you sometimes .......

..... miss!
This stone is one of 20 around the London Borough of Croydon . This one represents Sanderstead and Selsdon ward . When in 1965 part of Surrey was taken over by the L.B.'s ( our part ) stones were distributed at each ward to represent the ward boundaries. I would query whether this was a good thing or not, I'm not sure we've gained anything. Still when the powers that be decide on something that's it??
It has been a dull and slightly foggy day today but the wind has dropped and the temperature a tad higher.
My normal pool swim/ exercise this A.M. but wow the water was so cold, it was sort of OK for me the cold water eases the pain in my hip and back, however you soon warm up with activities .
This afternoon my best friend "C" popped in for a quick cuppa and brought a bunch of Hyacinths ( a blip when they open!) so kind of her , there's so much for her to organise as she and her husband are going to New Zealand to visit her daughter then to Australia to visit her brother , they will be away until mid March. I shall miss her greatly. Even tho' we can go weeks/ months without seeing each other we know that we're in easy reach. I'm sure they will have a great time.
My daughter "K" came for super tonight and Daisy came too, she seems a lot better tho' she's only been having very very small amounts to eat at the moment. It was great to have a conversation with "K" and sort a few things out.
