Tiny green buds

are pushing through the ground in spite of the cold.  These are the jonquils I think.   After two weeks of bitter cold for us, today I was able to sit outside in the sunshine with my pants legs rolled up, my flipflops and a tank top..exposing my winter skin to some vitamin D!   It was 65F and just perfect!  I wanted to take a walk but decided not to push myself that much yet.  A short walk around the yard checking out the flowers beds was about it..and worth it to spot these shoots!
