Done and dusted

Operation day went OK.
Arrived at 07.00 at Stepping Hill hostpital and was shown to my bed.
It was looking like I was to be third on the list but by 08.45 I was changed and on my way to theatre after being promoted to pole position.

Before I knew it I was coming round in recovery and soon back on the ward enjoying a much needed coffee and toast.

All of the staff were absolute stars.

Wife came to collect me and I was back home by 14.00.

I must admit it is quite nice resting and being pampered while I recuperate.
