Tiny Tuesday - A Cat of many Kin
Winter is almost done. Of course the worst bit is always the last bit.
Not a hard winter here really, but grey and drab - unlike Janet's brother Brentastic who may have had a bit more snow than strictly necessary... But now the bulbs are sending up shoots, and the twisted hazel in the back garden, well, it doesn't know when enough is enough! All these catkins on one tip of one branch! You can see the pollen, waiting to hit the spring breezes... oh, I can't wait for spring!
This is a grey day shot taken with a handheld flash in a hopeful moment when the wind dropped. Good enough for a plant kingdom tiny thursday, I hope.
Finally, thank you all so much for your kind comments, hearts and stars on yesterday's blip. I knew the three year milestone was upon me, but on the day it escaped me entirely until after I'd posted. I really did appreciate all your lovely comments, thank you. Blip is a fabulous community and I'm so glad to have become part of it. Here's to the next three years!
