Nuts!!

When I was a child we always found a few nuts in our stockings, along with a bag of chocolate money and a tangerine in the toe. And there was always a bowl of nuts on the sideboard too, with the nutcrackers and  boxes of Turkish Delight and dates.
I have bought nuts in their shells ever since. 
But in reality, I am now the only person who cracks them open and eats them, and they last for too long!
