Drippy

It has been a drippy kind of day... freezing cold and drizzly all day.  Yukk... positively horrible ...so much better to be indoors.

I spent the morning at the warehouse sorting food.. the shelves are pretty full and they need a lot of help to sort it out. Unfortunately l cannot get there again for ages... but l know when l do get back there they will be very grateful.  

I have bought some seville oranges so will get some marmalade made soon. We started the green juice diet again today.. so far so good!!!  Poor hubby has some vile bug causing him to cough a lot and he worked from home today... he feels really grotty .. do hope l dont get it!!

The confused neighbour came around again at 8 pm.. this time bearing gifts of a tin of pilchards and a tin of rice pudding.  She was surprised at how dark it was.. then asked how my husband was.. l said he was fine.. but with a bit of a cold and she said she had heard he had been in an accident... oh said l  what sort of accident. . she said she imagined it was on the race track.. hmm.. he doesnt go near race tracks normally.. l said he was fine and no he hadnt had an accident so all was well.  I also persuaded her that she must keep the pilchards and the pudding and enjoy them herself since our new year diet wont let us eat them.  She just wanted to thank us but knowing what l do it is more important that she eats these things herself.  She was dressed this time.. in a coat and wellington boots over clothes so that is an improvement.  Tomorrow we have got an appointment with the doctor for her if she goes.. l am not sure he/she will realise how confused she is since she is pretty good at carrying on a normal conversation... still it is a start to get her some help.
