Birthday.....day 2

Youngest's birthday today - she's not a teenager anymore. That makes me feel old!

I took her and another young thing who has been staying with us out for coffee and cake this morning. We were seated next to a log burner. So cosy on a freezing cold day.

The other young thing - charming young man, a credit to his parents - was dropped off at the station this afternoon. 

Youngest and I are currently on the sofa in our pj's binge watching several episodes of Pride & Prejudice. She's such a Jane Austen fan.
