A Cold Road

When I left home this morning the temperature was -3 but by the time I had reached this part of Glen Lean it had fallen another degree even though the sun was beginning to rise over the hills.

It was still only just above freezing when I took the ferry across the Clyde in the late afternoon on my way to a book launch in Strathclyde University and then Edinburgh for the start of the new Parliamentary term tomorrow.
