Deserted

For the moment Ocean Village marina on Southampton’ waterfront is strangely deserted.
Yachts and motor cruisers normally moored in the usually bustling marina have been moved and pontoons themselves taken away.
Marina owners, MDL say it is all part of the latest phase of transformation of Ocean Village.
Latest stage has been the opening of an 85 bedroom hotel, on the left of this Blipfoto, and the next phase is modernisation of the pontoons and marina itself.
MDL say the marina is being reconfigured to allow for the arrival of much larger yachts and creating easier access for all boat owners..
For the moment though the marina is strangely deserted!
