Back to the library today, haven't been there for 2-3 weeks. Felt a little rush of excitement as I went in and comforted by the warmth and familiarity of the place. A biography  immediately caught my eye - 'Tennessee Williams Mad Pilgrimage of the Flesh' - I think it is going to be wonderful. And being a mad Rothko fan I was delighted with his quote in the opening pages- 'Art to me is an anecdote of the spirit'
