Sandsend

Planned to spend all of today in Whitby but after an hour we had had enough.We have visited so many times over the last thirty years and always enjoyed it but this time it looked dirty and tired, full of weirdos and unfriendly locals I couldn't leave fast enough and doubt we will visit again.

So we drove to Sandsend,had lunch and a walk along the front.Sandsend is still a beautiful place and affords the best view of Whitby which is now from a considerable distance.

Pictured is a little cafe we have been going in for years and we had a nice lunch.
